Single car accident so no other victims.

I was blocking traffic at 740 and Providence to keep the accident scene clear for the first responders. A kid rolls up all but ignoring me, rolls down the passenger window, and the smell of alcohol all but knocks me over. He's still got a Harpo's cup full of booze on the seat next to him.
Call for another unit to take over traffic control, arrest him, take him to CPD for breath test, and book him into Boone County.
Two or three nights later, I'm working a bball game at Hearnes and am just walking in the west entrance before the game and hear my name.
"Officer Tigrrrr!?....do you remember me from the other night?" Sure. "Well, I saw in the paper they were working a really bad accident down by the golf course. If I had driven past you, I know I would have killed someone. Thank you." And shook my hand.
Takes a pretty big man to own up to his fvckup like that. I was impressed.
His BAC, btw, was .34.
