Local power sources would stress the grid a lot less, not to mention the obvious benefits of reducing our reliance on coal and fossil fuels. Yes it creates its own waste, but to a much lesser degree than the other two sources.

We have the expertise to run plants safely... If you meet any former Navy sub commander, you're meeting a guy who's probably the smartest guy in the area, be it your living room or a capacity crowd at Cardinals stadium.
