about the sanctions/investigation coming he never would have gone to Tulsa, even without an extension from MU. He would have been confident that he had talent on the roster and coming in to win and the extension would come.

The truth lies somewhere in the middle of what Kim is saying and what MU is saying. And I'm not making excuses for Kim Anderson. He flat out failed in what he was supposed to do. Regardless of what he was handed, I still think 3 years is a reasonable amount of time to give a coach.
