I do have some concerns about his ability to recruit the type of athlete we need. He also doesn't have any experience at a big school. Mid major coaches are always bolstered by the fact that they've yet to fail. Some make it. Some don't. Musselman does have a lot of NBA experience though.
Honestly, where the search stands Id be very happy with Martin, Musselman or Keatts. I think either of these guys would do great. I just hope that if we do not take Martin that he doesn't end up with the Illini. We simply have to be able to recruit St Louis.
