So one out of 4 new reports only mentioned the physical description of the attackers, in spite of them milling about the apartment complex and seen by a 3rd party prior to the incident.

But they were sure to mention the silver Equinox.

Haven't seen a follow-up report. The victim was alert and talkative when transported to the hospital but then was diagnosed with a severe head injury/brain bleed and took a turn for the worse.
