thing.
I don't like the gov't being involved in this in any significant way.
I don't want illegals to get free or subsidized hCare.
I don't want penalties or taxes or levies or fines for non participation.
I don't want even a remnant of obama care to remain when this is done.
Why does one government system have to be replaced with another government system?
Six years ago, the R position was to open up states to interstate commerce re insurance.
Six years ago, the R position was about tort reform so doctors wouldn't have to have huge malpractice insurance premiums.
Six years ago, the R position was to allow tax deductions for health insurance and health care costs.
Why not unplug TyrannyCare and implement those three things and get on with tax reform?
Cons, i don't trust paul ryan and his phase II and Phase III stuff.
But i don't know whether to side with the Freedom Caucus in the house and block this legislation, and risk a major defeat for the administration and all the snickering from the left and the media that will follow, or to accept what is available and "work" towards improvements later.
Whadya think? What should i want to happen?
