that we have been better than for the years prior to Kim, I think top 15% is probably pretty close to reality. There are only handful of mid-majors you can say have been hands down better the last 15 years. Wichita State, Gonzaga, and some of those teams. There are probably what, 100 P6 teams? Mizzou is probably right around the 40-50 range of all P6 teams over the last 18 years. So that would put is in the top 15%.

When you take out all the mid and low major programs that - tgr MU - 3/14 10:20:58
     10 - NWMizzouFan MU - 3/14 10:05:32
     based on what?(nm) - ajpe53 MU - 3/14 09:54:56
     That would be a top 50 program. Other than a brief - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 09:54:51
Since Norm retired, our average final RPI rating - Booth MU - 3/14 10:28:03
               I said exclude 2005, 2006, and the Kim years. Then 36.2(nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:32:25
Well, that is an incomplete picture of Mizzou's program - Booth MU - 3/14 10:36:41
I don't consider the Kim years to be MU basketball - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:41:07
          how many top 4 conference finishes? One?(nm) - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:02:41
2 actually. But that is an entirely different metric than - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:03:59
Can't you just average our KenPom or RPI rankings to - Booth MU - 3/14 10:13:54
Sure. The avg per Kenpom is 36.2 - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:17:05
                              I don't know how you calculated your average, but I - Booth MU - 3/14 10:33:44
                                   Thank you(nm) - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:36:59
                                   Dropped 2005, 2006, and the Kim years. I stated in - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:35:22
Get rid of all of them except for 2009 - Booth MU - 3/14 10:37:59
that is incomplete, doesn't show zero regular season titles - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:22:20
Agree, does not measure random metrics not involved - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:23:07
                                        2002- = incomplete - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:26:05
MU went 38-26 and made the NCAA tourney both seasons - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:31:28
W-L record among D1 programs, since Norm retired - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:34:32
                                                       I have no idea (nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:35:38
                    So, 2 top 4 finishes in a P5 conference in 18 years. So tell - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:07:21
Probably around top 10% over your stated time period(nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:08:24
really? What rubric are you using to arrive at that value?(nm) - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:09:34
That would be between top 30 to 40 (nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:11:23
                                        so, a 7-10 seed each year?(nm) - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:12:57
No, there are automatic bids to the NCAA tourney (nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:13:39
so, what is your rubric to arrive at your conclusion?(nm) - Doc James USA - 3/14 10:14:25
RE: so, what is your rubric to arrive at your conclusion?(nm) - FIJItiger MU - 3/14 10:17:19
