at SMSU, the Bears had played in the postseason in:
2005 - NIT 2nd rd
2006 - NIT 3rd rd
2007 - NIT 1st rd
2008 -

then Cuonzo took them to:

2009 -
2010 - CIT champions
2011 - NIT 2nd rd

prior to Cuonzo, Tennessee had played in 6 straight NCAA tourneys:
2006 - 2nd rd
2007 - sweet 16
2008 - sweet 16
2009 - 1st rd
2010 - elite 8
2011 - 1st rd

this is what Cuonzo inherited. from there, he went:

2012 - NIT 2nd rd
2013 - NIT 1st rd
2014 - NCAA sweet 16 (beat Iowa in the play-in game, then umass, then mercer before losing to Michigan)

then he left for Cal, who had previously done this:
2008 - NIT 1st rd
2009 - NCAA 1st rd
2010 - NCAA 2nd rd
2011 - NIT 2nd rd
2012 - NCAA 1st rd
2013 - NCAA 2nd rd
2014 - NIT final 4

and then Cuonzo:
2015 -
2016 - NCAA 1st rd
2017 - NIT (tbd)

should Mizzou be foolish enough to hire him, he'll inherit:
2015 - last place SEC, no postseason
2016 - last place SEC, no postseason
2017 - last place SEC, no postseason
