property my folks were buying in the Ozarks. It was sunny and 70 when we set up camp....the following morning was overcast and snowing. It snowed 14" on us.

We fished in farm ponds and kept ourselves busy making a lean-to near our campfire.

The following Spring Breaks were spent at home using a 13-pound post maul to drive treated pine fence posts into Ozark soil that was mostly rock.

Yeah, boozing and sunny beaches weren't in my budget.
