I try not to. You may be willing to ignore his flaws in some strange cutting off nose scenario - I am not. He is the elected representative of the people. The least he could do is act like it before he gets his ass handed to him in the next election.

And yes - it is insulting - at least to me. The absolute first job he has is Commander in Chief. Not Commander in Ego. I was raised in a military family - as I am sure many people here were. If he wants more than just the 40% of the sycophants to follow him he will have to show alot more leadership than that.
