I think that we are there to protect the Kurds from the Turks. This could blow up into a Turkish American fire fight and the loss of Incerlik. If I were Putin I would love it. We would have to stage from the Persian Gulfnwinnable stiuation for the US and we would have to withdraw. We should stick to Southeastern Syria and Northern Iraq to weakening Isis Let the Russians and Syria worry about Raqqa
