on social media by quickly arranging a press conference and telling the facts.
It used to be they would wait until an investigation wa concluded and reviewed within the dept and the DA's office so they wouldn't have any issues with affecting any of the witnesses when they give their statements.
The lies spreading on social media "hands up, don't shoot" and often used as a news "source" by the lame stream media can be nipped in the bud.
They are learning and adjusting.
