let's say your neighbor, Bill is a real piece of work. You knew he'd done some stuff, maybe served time for something, but otherwise, it's Bill; he's an idiot, but seems to be a harmless idiot.

Turns out, Bill's actually into some **** you didn't know about, and a foreign government decides they need to take Bill out.

On the day of the strike, some intel gets muddied and instead of hitting Bill's house, they hit yours and kill/maim most of your family.

Still just bad luck?
