is cheaper

If you subsidize wind and sun and oil and coal
then wind and sun are cheaper

If you include the external costs with all of them
then wind and sun are waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper

So there must be a reason for anti wind and sun.
There is : pro pollution, pro corruption
