And IMO it's easy to understand how he could be a championship coach with the right players. His teams will play hard for him when he gets the right group together. That plus talent can beat anyone.

He just couldn't get the right players here, and his personality seems to be to lose energy when things go poorly instead of fight even harder to change course.
