Trump is not lying by saying “Russia is a ruse. I have nothing to do with Russia. Haven’t made a phone call to Russia in years. Don’t speak to people from Russia,”
Not recalling (or simply not mentioning) that he saw one at a 'Meet and Greet event' is most likely not a lie... It simply wasn't memorable to Trump and there is not evidence that the 'warm greeting' was anything more than a nod of the head and a wave of the hand. There is no mention of even a handshake in the article... no mention of them exchanging even a cursory pleasantry or 'Howdee doodee!"
