possess stolen identities and fake Social Security Cards and picture ID's to meet I-9 requirements?
My solution is: Put a picture and biometric chip on the Social Security Card and mandatory participation in E-Verify for all employers. Only by eliminating the ability of employers to be victims of identity fraud can an employer be held criminally liable.
When I worked for a construction company in 2009, we had to fire over half of our field labor employees because they couldn't pass E-Verify despite providing us with SS Card and a matching CA Driver's license. And no.. they were not all Mexicans!
