Because the dossier I read, which was linked, suggests that the ones released were less likely to be apprehended again. Significantly less likely, actually.
I dont care one way or the other. If they did something bad, have a trial using a military tribunal and dole out punishment as they see fit.
But whether or not Obama released GTMO prisoners does not affect me. Bush did too, does not affect me. Trump will have to do something with them, and it, too, wont affect me.
