positives, and are willing to acknowledge them when they see them. You do not. Your personal over the top embarrassment has blinded you to the truth of the progress that has been made. It is sufficient? Not my call. I see progress, but I also see failure. I think they got discouraged after good efforts against Kentucky and in the game that followed, when they returned to find a sparsely populated arena. They didn't play well the last two games.
The biggest problem the last ten games has been fouls, and in particular by Woods. He fouled out 3 games and had 4 in 4 other games, and he's harped on the refs and made a nuisance of himself. He makes stupid fouls and then whines. Move the feet. He went out of his way to move his body a number of times over that stretch and not move his feet. He made 10 points only 1 time in that span.
It will be addition by subtraction when he is gone. I appreciate that he came here and made the effort, and stayed out of trouble and took care of the classroom business, and I'm glad he'll walk away with a diploma, and have many doors open to him. We need a better player at the position. We need someone who can control their emotions, and not let sub par performances spiral into worse performances.
Others made significant improvement.
