According to co-producer Katie Stippec, four production companies are working in conjunction to make this idea a reality that will air on a major cable network. The network remains confidential at this time, but the production companies are currently casting for the TV show.
The casting flyer states that the show will follow co-eds 18 to 25 years old with "big personalities who spend their summers at Party Cove as well those who chill by their private pool in Millionaire's Cove." No house or boat is required.
Stippec says the show stemmed from a brainstorming session among four producers, including herself, who are all from St. Louis, though they are now based in Los Angeles and New York. All had spent summers at the Lake of the Ozarks. Stippec worked a summer at Backwater Jacks in 2008.
