Pretty strong speech

Issues of course remain. Cap'n has a propensity to take credit where it is not due. He remains mostly a bloviating bully. But he sure as sht took over the GOP in ways I did not anticipate with Ryan now his lap dog.
Folks I viewed it, your good friend Ali, was mortified and sickened by his use of the widow as a political prop. That was the very height of distaste.
He stuck to the script. OK. Man can read a speech well enough, not great but well enough. It WAS just a speech. He still has not, as president, done much of anything. And what is this EVERY young family will get paid family leave time for a birth ? GOP will not support that. And his big infrastructure plan with this idea of a private public partnership has to be VERY closely examined. I have heard - do not remember details - that it is pretty nefarious.
And of course with the Cap'n it is spend, spend, spend, tax cut, tax cut, tax cut. And no need to pay for any of it. Huh.
