That is the point. He has a clean criminal record.

There was no reason for a secondary inspection and

it is illegal to ask him his religion in such an inspection.

I suspect he will sue the hell out of the government just to make a point for civil rights violations.

What happened is against the law.

You may not like it if you are a fan of fascism but it is the law.
