I don't know why I bother with you. I don't like the Right. I don't care for political solutions deeply steeped in Social Darwinism. I find Tax Cuts for the elites to be proven failures which while serving those who keep the cash quite nicely, fail as economic policy. I favor a healthy social safety net. Single payer works and we should adopt it. Business and industry regulation are vital to a well-functioning democracy as Adam Smith laid out. Our natural heritage evidenced through "our best idea" the national park system are seen by the Right as nothing more than under-exploited resources. Seeing that THIS is what you so often get with an "R", I reject the "R" pretty whole heartedly.

Bubba pretty much fcked the Left when he opted to side with money, the lead the D party at that time to Money and to thus abandon concerns of the working folk and teachers, bakers and candle-stick makers. I grew up in a factory town in CT. I remember hearing the 5:00 Whistle and seeing the working folks stream out to their cars.

We were a better country with more evenly distributed wealth and benefits. The rich were still plenty rich, but the rest got their piece of the pie. So, in an election with no Democratic Socialist Party, I kinda back the Dems, though the only party I ever belonged to were the Greens. But that was 25 years ago. Peace Out.
