area falls into the 90s in violent crime when that defined area, albeit larger than it used to be, is not included.
That said, University City is not that area, but a small bit of it neighbors to it's farthest Northeast reaches a quasi buffer zone to some of that area. Overall, though, U City is a nice "Clayton suburb/historic Central Corridor burb" with some fairly affluent neighborhoods.
