actually correct depending how he is giving that money.
If the money is simply being used to send food over that is a horrible use of resources. It fills their bellies for a while but does nothing to address the underlying issues.
If the money is being used to teach sustainable farming techniques and assure clean water supplies then it is money well spent.
Our methods of dealing with poverty always attempt to dress wounds instead of preventing further wounds from developing..
