Managed a store that sold computer parts...this new video card had just come out and they were REALLY hard to find in stock. We got one in.

Phone rings, guy asks if we have one, I tell him yes and he freaks out, asks if I can hold it for him, he's driving from Warrensburg (I'm in KC) and its about an hour until close. I told him I would, but we close in an hour, he said he would make it (its about a 60-70 min drive)

It's 8:50 or so, and a dude comes SPRINTING into my store out of breath, says he's there for the video card, but in his rush he accidentally locked his keys and his wallet in his car. I let him use the store phone to call a locksmith, but its going to be an hour before they can get there. I can't stay open an hour late, we're in a mall, we have to close.

So the guy says "hold on" and runs back out of the store.

He comes back in a couple minutes later with what looks like a towel wrapped around his hand/arm and its soaked in blood. He ran out to the parking lot, punched through the window of his car, and got his wallet.

He bought the card, I got a nice $600 sale and only closed about 10 mintues late. He was happy.
