Why would he do that?
Did he not know that this job requires just a ton of work? And it doesn't lend itself to taking off every weekend to play golf?
Apparently he does not want to do the job. At this point in his first term, Barack Obama had passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act enacted by Congress in Feb 09. Cap'n thus far has signed bills allowing the mentally ill to buy guns.
