Softball opponents today...

Playing South Dakota and Illinois State today. On paper we should not have much trouble but that's why they play the games. I'm not feeling very confident the way we struggled on offense last weekend, hopefully the bats come alive today.
South Dakota was 15-38 last year with a final RPI of 244. They are 1-4 so far this year, splitting two games with Long Beach State, losing 8-0 and winning 1-0, lost to San Diego State 7-1, UCLA 6-0, and Notre Dame 2-1.
Illinois State was 20-33 last year, RPI 113. They are 2-3 this year but faced a tough schedule, losing to Florida 9-0, Michigan 4-2, and South Florida 5-4, all ranked teams. Their wins came against Delaware 19-13 and St Johns 2-1. Playing #20 USF and #11 Michigan that close is impressive.
Going to learn a little more about this Mizzou team this weekend.
