In a dystopian America, people live in “burbclaves”, which are social bubbles/neighborhoods based on the philosophy or culture you aspire to. There are genteel “Southern” ones, generic ones and one in particular called “New South Africa”, which is home to all the white supremacist types you can image. And our hero has a run in with a bunch of them at one point and they say that the just love New South Africa because it’s white purity and pride and it’s wonderful except for one things. There aren’t any minorities to kick around. So they leave specifically to pick fights.
