Neither did I. Took a while to get there. Today you can park at the Johnson County Central Library and recharge you electric car battery. WTF? WHAT? Electric cars, what's that? Battery tech improves daily.
SOME big issues with solar aren't cloudy days ya dip, they are tying solar homes and solar businesses to the grid and determining who and how payments are made for re-configuring said grid. Sat in a meeting with MO Senator Friday regarding that. You have to tie in the PUCs (with their roles threatened) - you have to tie in 10 year financing plans with considerations of large and small users tied in. There's a lot there. But COAL? Done. Time to get off our asses.
