You're giving the media too much credit. There's not some vast conspiracy to divide the country.... Is there biased news? Yep, but that's because reporters are people and people have opinions. What I find with reporters that sometimes present biased news is that they're naive to what they've done. Most are at least, not all. When you have an opinion, sometimes you don't realize what you're presenting is biased as you take it for fact.
