synopsis of why diversity is, or at least would be for the US, of benefit. What can it give we don't have already, in terms of wealth, ideas, leadership, etc? The backward cultures, in development AND ideas, can gain and have done so. But I see no reason we will.
Hence my constant sermon on why we should stay the hell out of conflicts around the world - and never more than in the mideast - unless it is actual DEfense. You could even make a case for WWII, but I'll let that one slide, in spite of its hideous cost, certainly in lives.
