It was a bit of hyperbole.....It has been at least effective in that we have deported hundreds of thousands either near the border or through other means. We have at least kept terroirsts out pretty well since we don't have acts of terror all over the place committed by near term entrances. On the other hand, we have millions that are here illegally. we have the cases where we have deported the same person multiple times...it is neither a complete failure nor a complete success. It seems that if someone really wants to get here, they can....Not the question to me..is what to do next. I disagree with Trump's first two points of action..build a wall, and enact a temporary ban.
