issue, either it's absolutely wrong or absolutely right, is missing the boat. Wisconsin is currently looking at reform in this area and it is common sense. The abuse must stop. The policing for profit mentality is wrong when and if it is done. But I don't believe that makes civil forfeiture in and of itself a wrong practice.
