6.6 million felons (in jail and not in jail) cannot legally vote:
1) there are approx 600k felons on parole
2) Approx 1.5 million felons on probation
3) There are 2.6 million ex felons where states prohibit their voting
4) there are 1.3 million in prison (amazingly, in some states, prisoners can vote)
