Why the left acts this way

Some are shocked. They shouldn't be. This is the natural reaction of those whose general world view is emotional rather than rational.
It's why 3 year olds throw tantrums. They don't really grasp the realities of relationships, monetary consequences, good and evil in the world, etc. They base their actions solely on emotion. I want or don't want to do that. I want or don't want to eat that. I want that toy and didn't get it. And when they don't get their way, because of their complete inability to articulate or deal with their unhappiness and disappointment in rational ways, they lash out emotionally and resort to tantrums. This only stops as they become more armed with broader and more mature views and alternatives that allow them to resolve issues without lashing out in emotional tantrum.
And we are seeing it on a daily basis. This is what happens when you are ruled by subjective emotion.
