He was one of several people involved with launching the Rosa Parks Library and Museum which was the event. I don't think it really neutralizes her letter to the Senate committee regarding Sessions. At the same time she starts off the letter by excusing herself from testifying before the committee. Thus she was able to avoid cross-examination. She made a couple accusations that Sessions interfered with black absentee voting but she failed to substantiate them. Without evidence the charges are just he said/she said. My guess is that the Democrats wrote the letter which is why she couldn't appear for cross-examination.
