only be used at Catholic schools you would have a point. Government money going to a religious organization does not violate the establishment clause unless it only goes to one.
Separation of church and state is a fallacy that most people believe, it is nowhere in the Constitution. The establishment clause was to prevent a federally recognized religion that would endanger the many state religions at the time.
