Any good public school delves into Christianity from a factual standpoint in a European or American History class. I think it would be hard not to mention Jesus. Just like it would be hard not to mention Muhammad in a European history class.
But I don't think public schools should have a theology class. That can be accomplished in a church group or by attending a private school.
If there was a theology class, then all (major) religions would need to be covered.
