I guess that was a good move by KA. Notice that he didn't see the court in the closer SCar game. Hughes didn't do much for his case going 0-8 with a turnover and no assists in 15 minutes. On most teams, a freshman with modest abilities isn't going to play that much anyway so its not like its a great disservice to Hughes to let him sit in close games.
