Probably not coincidental that the cheating scandal

about the Detroit players having tests taken for them broke right before the first of our 3 game losing streak to end the year.
Of course, Coward was injured and Peeler was slumping, so the Notre Dame loss to Laphonso Ellis might have happened anyway...but not by 30. The Big Eight tourney loss to Colorado was weird but the Buffs did have Shaun Vandiver and Stevie Wise, not an awful team at all. The Northern Iowa loss though should never have happened.
