from a closed shop? The ONLY one who benefits from a closed shop is the union. They are the ones who force this issue. The employer is over a barrel because if he does not force every worker to join all of his union plumbers walk off the job.

With this law he can simply say sorry guys no closed shops but anyone who wishes can join your union.

This will either kill unions or force them to be more responsive to the needs of their members. It gives the members to vote with their pocketbooks.

I see no downside to the end of closed shops.
