one short off season. Our roster is not as bad as our results. We're closer than you think. Not to say we're about to trip over the line into excellence, but we can see the line.
If the new coach has to start completely from scratch, we're super fuked for 2 more years.
If the new coach can track down a couple of go-to guys to go with some decent role players that we have, we can win 20 games next year.
Getting a couple of the necessary parts this spring is going to be very difficult. Getting 5+ is going to be impossible.
You, like so many others, look at these guys in their current roles of being relied upon as go to scorers and see that they can't do it and assume they can't play. We have multiple guys who will be just fine as options #3-6.
Just like J Williams failed at MU when expected to be the team leader and now succeeds at Gonzaga where he's just a guy......we have several of those right now. Yes, they're a step down from him, but the same general situation.
