in a position of public trust she no longer has a personal opinion and if she does, she needs to keep it to herself.
Public safety professionals have lost their jobs for saying things in jest. You either bite your tongue a lot or learn to ignore all the petty crap which could set you off. Hell, one dept I worked for we couldn't even have political yard signs on our lawn.
The fact she shared her true self just shows how unqualified she is to be mayor.
