His concern is legitimate.
Actions like the one Trump has taken will make it more difficult for governments in Muslim-dominated nations to cooperate with us or assist in our efforts. This is a fact. It may not matter to some people but it is true.
It will also increase hostility toward the West in those areas. People here like to say "Could it get any worse? Could they hate us any more?" to which I say yes, it could get a lot worse, and they could hate us a lot more.
Most important, this will also make things more difficult for our service men and women serving in those areas. You know, the ones all the righties on here claim to "support." This is a fact. Ignore this too if you wish and continue to support initiatives of this nature, but do it with this understanding.
All for something that makes Joe Bag-O-Donuts sitting on his easy chair in the States with a remote in one hand and a bag of chips under the other "feel safer." Whether or not it will actually make us safer is very debatable, but that doesn't matter. What matters to the simpletons is that they "feel safer."
