Interesting he pines for the "liberal" Roosevelt, who interned the Japanese after Pearl Harbor, and Truman, who dropped two atomic bombs on the Japanese. Neither were known as social justice warriors or racial equality advocates. History is a buffet I guess, you pick what you like and leave the rest.
