Hoops will be the easiest to turn around, yets. But BB recruiting is often regional, if not national. MU is lucky the SEC sucks, yet there is talent through out the SEC footprint, Illinois, Texas, and even Missouri. A really good team doesn't need to be loaded with blue chippers, getting the occasional ones help of course, but a good fundamental coach can overperform quickly, and if that happens in the Tourney, it gets really noticed. Just look at history and the number of small schools that had great hires who created a brand and kids wanted to go there. The old Big East was loaded with them, and yes the geography was a big selling point for the league. But there's plenty of talent to go around and the right coach for us will know where to find it.

We gotta get both good and lucky for this to happen. But it only takes one.
