Can I share with you what happened.
ObL in a long-planned ONE-OFF attack killed 1,700 Americans and some 1,500 bi-nationals on 9/11
It was a SPECTACULARLY successful attack. It was Spectacle. Scared the bejusus out of people. This event was subsequently used as a manipulative tool by the Neo-cons within the Bush Admin - Cheney, Rummy, Perle, Scooter, et al - to connive a US military invasion of a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11. The admin worked diligently to drive up fear in the public. The president knowingly, willfully lied to the US public in a SOTU about the gottamned yellow-cake uranium. And we buried ourselves in Iraq. And true to the neo-con pledge we destabilized the Middle East by removing one third of a tri-polar power structure. Note we did NOT attack ooo scary Iran - b/c they were not the easy pickings Iraq was. Meanwhile the Middle East is in tatters.
To the Scoreboard, the writer seems to suggest the score is 3,000 US dead, 0 dead bad guys. I wonder that in such a sick and twisted mentality how many or who the US would need to kill to even the score - I HAVE A FUN GAME FOR YOU though.
Iraqi children dead due to US-Enforced UN Sanctions come to or came to 500,000. Cessation of those sanctions was one of three key goals set out by our guy ObL

So the SCORE now is 497,000 to O. Looks like they got some killing to do to even that score.
