he was having a bad day. A really bad day. I think that we tend to assume every acrimonious situation that involves different races, is a racial issue.

Many of them are, maybe this one is as well.

But without knowing more, we don't really know.

I know that personally, I tend to doubt a black person who screams racism, because the clerk at the mall did not treat them properly. In their opinion. It had to be racism. What else could it be?

She looked at me wrong. Her tone was insulting. Her attitude was arrogant. It must be racist. And maybe it is.

But maybe it isn't.
