While I agree that there is potential with both - that 5 spot is by far the weakest on the roster. The new coach needs to bring in the best 5 that he can and let them battle.

Since Kemp wasn't physically ready to compete this year - even when Smith was injured, I don't think he merits any consideration. If he's not there when the new coach takes over - that should be considered an extra scholarship for the coach to fill.

I view KP as a weak 4 (both defensively and on the boards) - which means we need a strong contribution from the 5.
